About Universal Aerospace

Founded in 1990 with the mission of resetting the bench mark for customer service to a much higher level, Universal Aerospace started producing Air Intake Access doors for General Electric jet aircraft engines. They were able to produce the doors and deliver them ahead of schedule and under budget. As one success lead to another and word started spreading in the aircraft manufacturing community demand for Universal Aerospace's brand of customer service consistently grew.

Universal Aerospace commitment to Quality and Customer Service paid off with increasing sales. In 1998 they built a new, state of the art 20,000 Sq. Ft. manufacturing facility and a year later another 20,000 Sq. Ft. building was erected to support customer requirements for welding and assembly. At a peak in 1999 thru mid 2001 Universal Aerospace employment approached the 90 employee mark all the while maintaining excellent customer service.

The impact the events of 9-11 had on the Aerospace Industry were significant. Through this down turn Universal continued to grow and retool their capacity to prepare to better meet customer needs. As business has started to return back to the pre 9-11 levels the company remains profitable and continues to engage new customers. Currently UA has in excess of 100 employees and over 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The philosophy of continually improving and developing new levels of customer satisfaction and value sustain Universal Aerospace and propel them to the future.
